Laura Quinkan Dance Festival Cancelled Due To Corona Virus Epidemic

During this time of uncertainty, the health and wellbeing of our elderly and vulnerable stakeholders, families and the wider community take priority over all else.

It is with deep regret that the Ang-Gnarra Aboriginal Corporation announces the cancellation of the Laura Quinkan Dance Festival scheduled for 3rd to the 5th July 2020.

This action is being taken with the recent announcement by Federal and State and Territory governments to halt all mass gatherings of people at large community events throughout Australia, due to the corona virus epidemic.

Ang-Gnarra would like to thank our government Grant providers, partners, stakeholders and the many people who were considering attending the festival. People who have purchased tickets will be fully refunded along with any vendors who have paid.

Ang-Gnarra Corporation looks forward to delivering the festival and hopes our current government grant providers, sponsors and supporters stay the journey as we prepare for July 2021.
